The Institute runs Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC) and allied programs. The Institute intends to groom the Gen-Next Media Professionals for their holistic development to adopt Global Standards of Media Industry. It runs a 4-Year BAJMC (Hons.) Under-Graduate Program as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms and directives under the New Education Policy 2020. The Institute has a proven track record of Academic Excellence and Best Mentoring and Industry Connect and was established in 2019.

  • BAJMC (Hons.) 4 Year Under-Graduate Program

     

    • Eligibility Norms for Admission to First Year BAJMC (Hons.)

The applicant must have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB)/Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE)/ Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent under the 10 + 2 pattern in any stream, with English as a mandatory subject.

  • Certificate in Podcasting

 

Eligibility Norms for Admission to 3 Months Certificate Programs

The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board in any stream with basic knowledge of English and Hindi.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • To develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving media industry.
  • To prepare the media aspirants with creative and innovative abilities to think out of the box in content creation of every media domain.
  • To facilitate graduates to develop high quality professional skills in the areas of mass communication and develop an understanding of sustainability in the media environment so as to be globally competent.
  • To develop leadership qualities, team spirit and professional ethics for a promising career opportunity in the communication world.
  • To orient and train the student not only in conceptual/theoretical concepts but also for providing a real and practical feel of business situations and tools to meet real life demanding situations.

  • Students will be able to think critically, creatively, and exhibit curiosity to discover new horizons in the Media field.
  • Students will gain deep understanding and knowledge of Journalism and Mass Communication.
  • Students will be able to express enthusiasm in team work, take leadership in successful application of concepts in Journalism and Mass Communication through group projects.
  • A continuous learning temperament will be inculcated among the media aspirants to acquire knowledge and gain insights in Communication field.
  • The programme will help students to gain deeper understanding about global media functioning and recognize the opportunities and challenges that present themselves while operating in different Media scenarios at Global level.
  • The Perfect blend of Theoretical and Practical approach will help the students to meet the present demands of the Media Industry.
